New improved moss pole with wooden stake. Stake is 9 inches long made with the moss pole. Moss pole is made with premium green sphagnum moss which is preserved and long lasting. This is more natural look than the light brown sphagnum moss poles by blending into your plant greenery. I'm slowly (and I mean slowly) transitioning my moss poles all over to green because it just looks more natural and makes my plant stand out versus seeing my plant through the brown moss pole.
The moss holds 10x it's weight in water, adding much loved humidity for plants between watering. Washed and cleaned to remove dust and small particles.
Custom pole sizes available, message me for special listing if you are needing a specific size :) We recommend allowing at least 8-10 inches higher than your plant (minimum) to allow for growth. I can personally attest when I poled my pothos, it shot up quickly and now I'm going to have to build a longer pole for myself lol.
Bigger doesn't mean better! Sometimes we need just a little something to hold up our favorite, petite little vine or ivy and a huge totem pole is simply overpowering and takes away from the beauty of the plant. Made with premium green sphagnum moss densely compacted into a black durable polypropylene mesh for long lasting use. Plant roots will attach more easily and deeply with mesh.
I make these for smaller vines and it is a little over 1/2" in diameter. Perfect to give a little support for our delicate ones. Sturdy plastic sphagnum pole secured sectional with zip ties that your plant will never break plus mesh will not decompose like wooden poles. No upkeep like the wood moss pole. Plant moss pole next to your plant baby and use floral pins or twine to secure. Some people are embarrassed to ask questions for how to do this but don't be- everybody has to start somewhere, so please message me if you need help. That's what I'm here for!
Size of pole you order includes tip of pole to end of the spike so if you order a 16 inch, then 12 inch will be moss pole and the remaining 4 inch will be the wooden spike and so on.
Also these will provide humidity for your plants as well. I mist mine just like I do the plants. The moisture held in the moss will slowly be released around your plant leaves making them happy :). Provides a more natural environment helping with root growth for between absorption of water and minerals making a more quality plant, larger leaves and healthier thriving.
I found that most of my customers are happy with the size options listed below but if you are need a specific size- either in diameter or length- please let me know where we can discuss. I can accommodate any size but I have posted what my customers usually prefer as examples of what you will receive.
