These listing is for 2 100% handmade Ipe Tanbo Sticks. The Ni Tanbo are also known as Kali Sticks or Escrima Sticks. This is an upgrade from common Rattan sticks. These Sticks are 24 inches, and are made in a rounded design. Each has a diameter of 1" inches.

All of these variations are for a staff that is 1" in width. Please see which versions are available  at checkout.
*Each of the staffs in this listing are smooth beautiful excellent heavy wood, however there may be some places where the grain is not ideally straight. These can be made to any size and would be EXCELLENT for strength training, kata, or home use due to the weight of the wood which do not involve contact. So as such I have discounted the price on each of these, and would recommend these for any and all non contact purposes. Such as hiking, kata, or solo training, or tournaments. If you would like the premium ideal grain staffs please check out my other listing for the A grade staffs. Often these staffs are more beautiful then straight  grain as patterns on the wood emerge. These staffs have no other imperfections and are perfectly smooth and straight as all my other staffs.

This is a handmade solid Ipe Tanbo Staff pauir. Ipe is very hard exotic heavy wood. The Bo Staff is a traditional Okinawan training tool used in Kobudo style martial arts. The length of this pair is 28" Its diameter is 1 inch through out its length.
Ipe is twice as hard as common American Hickory. It is one of the hardest woods in the world. It has an amazing smooth sturdy feel. It has a beautiful heavy dark brown color.
These staffs give a heavier and smoother feel then other 1"  staffs.
It is sanded smooth and finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil, which gives it a permanent shine and protective layer while allowing the users hands to slip effortlessly up and down the staff, which is required for proper technique.
Ipe is an exotic heavy wood. Ipe is twice as hard and heavy as common American Hickory. It has an amazing dark brown color. It is one of the hardest woods in the world. It has an amazing smooth sturdy feel.
