    Description

    Victorian circa 1880s young girls dress. Red tartan...I believe it is a type of wool, with cotton lining inside bodice. Buttons up back, all 13 buttons present. The sleeves and lower back skirt have pieced fabric which makes it quite charming. A single pocket. Hard to find piece! Fit is approximately for an eight year old by todays standards. Condition is

    in need of a repair where it is torn at the armhole and it is not all along the seam as it has partly torn into the dress, a torn button hole, scattered holes and small holes throughout, frayed neckline, nips and frays on hem.
